Dr. Kourova has been leading the UCF to Russia study abroad trip for language and culture since 2012. Including the summer of 2019 participants, this program has had 81 participants. This summer program is designed to immerse undergraduate students in Russian language and culture. Moscow State University and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation have both partnered with this program. On the trip, students will take classes at the university in Moscow and travel to Saint Petersburg for a cultural excursion. While studying in Moscow, students stay in dorms among Russian students and often take excursions to explore the beautiful city of Moscow. The application for Summer 2019 has closed, but the Summer 2020 link will be posted here later this year.
