Erin Foley

Erin Foley is a history teacher in Oviedo, Florida. She works as a sponsor for the Model UN Council and UNICEF Club, and has worked to arrange once in a lifetime student abroad trips. Mrs. Foley works to inspire her students towards engagement in global affairs and foster the idea of global citizenship.

As part of the Fulbright-Hays GPA, Mrs. Foley specializes in studying the development of European politics during the 18th and 19th century and the contribution of Catherine the Great and Peter the Great's rules. 

​

Mrs. Foley has provided two modules from her AP European history to give a sampling of the key concepts she teaches her students. These concepts are including but not limited to the "westernization" of Russia and the experimentation with enlightened absolutism in Eastern and Central Europe.

Dr. Houman Sadri

Dr. Houman Sadri is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Central Florida. Dr. Sadri is the president of the Information and Policy Analysis Center, as well as the Coordinator of the Model United Nations Program.

Dr. Houman Sadri is a valued member of the UCF FUlbright-Hays GPA to Russia team, and specializes in foreign relations involving the ties between the Persian Gulf and Caspian Sea States. Dr. Sadri is planning to add new materials to his political science courses based on his time spent in Russia. In order to do so, Dr. Sadri will be conducting interviews with Russian policy makers and scholars.
