Dr. Wendy Howard
Dr. Wendy Howard is the Program Director of the Pegasus Innovation Lab at the University of Central Florida. The Pegasus Innovation Lab focuses on promoting and cultivating innovative ideas and projects with the goal of improving student success through digital learning.

Dr. Howard will provide the Fulbright-Hays GPA to Russia team with a digital archive to house photos and videos from the trip to Russia. Dr. Howard is also working to make study abroad trips to Russia available digitally to provide more students opportunities to experience Russia.


Dr. Barry Morris
Dr. Barry Morris has earned a Ph.D. in International Relations and International Political Economy from Emory University. Dr. Morris has also dedicated himself to the study of several languages including Russian and Chinese. Dr. Morris has studied Russian at Moscow State University’s Lumumba Institute and Chinese at Tsinghua University.

Dr. Barry Morris' background is business makes his contribution to the Fulbright-Hays GPA to Russia involves creating and implementing a text on Business Russian with the Principal Investigator. Dr. Morris is also planning on starting and leading a course on Business Russian.

Michael Martinez
Michael Martinez is a University of Central Florida alumnus (17') and currently serves as the Special Projects Coordinator for UCF Global. With a background in Spanish and Russian language, Mr. Martinez has been the recipient of numerous awards for his dedication, excellence, and research in the fields of International Relations, Russian Studies, and Criminal Justice. Mr. Martinez's special interest for the Fulbright-Hays GPA to Russia is to expand Russian and Eastern European curricula at the secondary and post-secondary levels, specifically through program development.

Dr. Tatiana Makarova
Dr. Tatiana Makarova is an associate professor and the head of the English and Russian as a Foreign Language Department for the Institute of Foreign Languages at Moscow City University, Russia. Dr, Makarova's strength as an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) professor has enabled her to develop course content for blind and visually impaired students. Dr. Makarova is one of two scholars in-country working with the Fulbright-Hays GPA to Russia from the University of Central Florida.
Dr. Ekaterina Kameneva
Dr. Ekaterina Kameneva is a Vice-Rector (Provost) for Educational Programs Development and International Affairs and a professor in the Corporate Finance & Corporate Management Department at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Economics. Dr. Kameneva is credited with over seventy publications, and two time grant recipient. As the other member of the in-country Fulbright-Hays GPA to Russia team, Dr. Kameneva works to coordinate all project activities and is the co-researcher for building bridges between language and culture.
